Kenwood DDX7019

I was looking for a quality audio/video device for my truck and found it with the Kenwood DDX7019. Out of the box, this unit is awesome. The LCD screen is about seven inches in size and is touch sensitive.

So, no more fumbling around for little buttons or remotes, it's all just handled through the LCD. Even DVD playback is handled through the touch screen using the on screen guide for disc navigation. The actual picture is very sharp, crisp and bright, just as you would expect from an LCD screen.

The DDX7019 is satellite radio ready and can be upgraded to support HD Radio. Another available upgrade is the Bluetooth adapter, which will allow you to pair up your phone to the receiver as well.

As far as playback goes, I haven't run into any compatibility issues. It seems to play all retail and computer burnt CDs and DVDs. It has MP3 decoding built in, so you can actually burn a few gigs of music onto one DVD and really never have to worry about swapping around discs or having to search through multiple CDs to find one song.

 

One of the coolest and most useful features is the ability to hook up your video iPod to stream videos and music straight to the receiver. With just one little cable, you can actually control and stream all your iPod's content using the on screen guide system without having to fuss about with the iPod controls.

This will make sure that you're never without something to watch or listen to ever again.
