Kenwood KVT-514Kenwood KVT-514 is the latest sharp looking DVD receiver from Kenwood that will perfectly fit the single sized dash opening of any car. It has a motorized retractable 7 inch touchscreen that allows you to change sources between DVD movies or music with feather touch.

It uses Z-action mechanism, the hallmark of Kenwood that allows you to view the picture from 12 different angles with optimum visibility. When parked, movies can be watched on the built in screen.

When moving, back seat passengers can watch it with an add-on external screen and wireless headphones fixed to the audio/video I/O. The person driving can also enjoy music by activating the dual-zone mode.

The general features of KVT-514 are the internal amp consisting of 22 watts RMS and the peak music power output (P.M.P.O) which is 50 x 4 channels. It has ten color display / button illumination along with audio-video features, low and high pass filters, expandability, three band parametric equalizer.
 
 
 
It comes with A/V input/output, USB input and rear camera input. It has an out-put 4 channel preamp that has subwoofers in the front and rear. While the KVT-514 is compatible with the factory set audio control on the steering wheel of most cars, the ones that don’t, can be adjusted with an easy adapter. The Kenwood KVT-514 comes with a one year warranty with plans for extended service available.
 

Kenwood KVT-514 is iPod and USB drive compatible too. The iPod can be fixed to the KVT-514 through an adapter. The updated menu that pops up on the screen lets you control and play your favorite music, navigate through the play-lists and albums with great ease.

Even the album cover will be displayed on the screen reminding you which albums are being played. Videos from the iPod can also be watched when the vehicle is parked. Similarly you can use a USB thumb drive or CD that has MP3, AAC or WMA file formats to listen to music.

The large screen displays the tag information from the source (USB/CD). Other add-ons possible on the KVT-514 is the satellite radio tuner or the HD radio tuner. You can also handle phone calls hands-free with the Bluetooth adapter. It is also compatible with navigation modules with the touchscreen allowing you to control navigation and voice guide prompting the way.
